I still can't believe!
I got my passport reissued in just 2 days from the date of application.
Date of Application: 1/March/2016
Date of Delivery: 3/March/2016
10 years before:
Application Date: 19/Oct/2005
Date of Issue: 23/Nov/2006
PSK Passport Seva Kendra are doing great. though there's a scope of improvement, but digitization of documents is a great step.
Kudos to the External Affairs Ministry of India and PMO India for driving this change.
I can see it vividly because I have experienced the ordeal 10 years ago.
Way to go India.
