What caused FLOODING on Hosur Road?

The great rain havoc catched live {see previous post}. And you must be curious to know the REASON for waterlogging of Hosur Road!!! The Reason is also catched live {see previous post}…YESSS “ANSAL FORTE” apartments where I stay is the reason for Bangalore’s Hosur Road floods. The Hosur Road (E.C.Road) was severally affected because the Builders blocked the “Raja Kaluve”. Apartments like “Ansal Forte” and many others are build over the “Raja Kaluve” and other canals for drain water.

And what now, the BBMP waked up and started demolition of these blockages. “Ansal Forte” deserved coverage on “Times Of India”, main page. The great Indian News paper taking initiatives like LEAD INDIA failed to deliver the truth. “Times Of India” is corrupted and biased like any other news paper. The “Ansal Forte” news was on main page continuously for 3 days BUT the paper never mentioned “ANSAL FORTE” anywhere in the news. The news simply dumped the information about the builder “ANSAL”. Everywhere in news it is referred as “one apartment” or “some apartment on Hosur road”. WHY WHY WHY???? Why this newspaper failed to mention about ANSAL builders. The reason is clear, ANSAL’s have real estate business everywhere, if the head line of a widely distributed newspaper blames there establishment “ANSAL FORTE” for all the mess created on Hosur Road-- then there reputation is gone. That’s why the name of builder was simply ignored while writing the news.

I live in the same apartment. Now BBMP is demolishing the entire compound wall, it’s digging up there and putting pipelines. Soon the matter will close. Ansal’s will settle the matter with BBMP and Then Ansal’s will advertise in “Times Of India”. This time “Times Of India” will not miss the opportunity for printing “Ansal Forte” and will not refer it as “one apartment” or “some apartment on Hosur road”.

{Soon I will publish the photographs of recent corrective measures taken by BBMP}

Waterlogged Bangalore

Raining for two days 13th and 14th Sep07 and the entire Hosur road from silk board onward (towards electronic city) drenched.

Whata scene, Hell lotta traffic jammed. Everyone cranking there vehicle engine on the flyover.

The Ansal Apartments completely waterlogged. Yesterday at least we stepped out on bricks but today…. NO WAY the last two steps were IN water and no other way to get out.

So put your pants up remove your shoes and feel the cold water.

It’s water everywhere on Hosur road. This part of city specially faces the problem coz of heavy and heavy duty traffic towards and from Electronic City, very Bad road conditions, ongoing Flyover work.

The Great Indian Dream

It’s a strange coincidence that increased my frustration tenfold, that I read “The Great Indian Dream” after my last post here. What a timing, the book came to me or rather I chose to read the book by “Arindam Chaudhury and his father” after having bitter feeling expressed right here in my blog about INDIA.
