Whenever it rains...

Clouds, Sea, Sky, Rains... I cant resist.

Whenever it rains, I no longer care about the damn costly mobile,

Nor even the fear of wallet sinking in,

or the wristwatch to malfunction,

too less a price to pay, for too much of rain.

Stanley Ka Dabba

No Review, just a warning.

Statutory Warning: Sensitive people should keep away from such stuff. If one can think in many unknown dimensions, and not just limit oneself to what is shown on screen but posses powers to look beyond,  STAY AWAY from this movie.

Amol Gupte I HATE YOU.

No title

...   In the midnight the young Brahmin took the book and rushed towards Brahmasthala. He wanted to reach as early as possible the place were Mandaravati was cremated. By the time he reached the cremation ground the Brahmin who had been to the river Ganga also returned. Another young Brahmin was there in the hut. All of them again assembled at one point.

The young Brahmin who had brought the book containing the hymn took a pinch of mud and put it on the ash reciting the hymn. Immediately Madaravati became alive. She was looking still more beautiful. All three were immensely joyous. But they started quarrelling to marry her.

“I recited the hymn. That’s why she got life” one of them said.

“But I had been to the river Ganga and dipped her bones in the river that is the reason Mandaravati got back her life” another Brahmin said.

How is it possible? All these days I have protected the ash. Therefore Mandaravati is my wife” the third youth said.

Betaal asked king Vikram: “oh king Vikram! Now tell me. How was the quarrel resolved> who could be the husband of Mandaravati? Knowing the answer if you remain silent, your head will spit into a thousand pieces!”

“The Brahmin who gave life to Mandaravati becomes her father. The person who took her bones to the river Ganges for dipping is supposed to be her son. The youth who made his hut where she was cremated and  made her ash as bed and slept on it has really loved her. Therefore he is the appropriate husband of Mandaravati” Vikram replied.

Vikram broke his silence by replying Betaal. Betaal glided back to the tree.

Staying away from Social Networking / Facebook - is a good Idea.

I'm feeling better since i have stopped logging into Facebook from last two days. (only two days !!! but shows the extent of overuse)
The funda is - Need to know basis - .
When you are out there you inadvertently get to know many things, some of them you want to know, some you don't.

So when you read all those unnecessary posts, somewhere at the back of mind you start comparing things, your life, there lives, your view, there views,
and whole lot of personal comments.

Why is it required?
Absolutely not needed.

The cleaner thought process requires lesser distractions.
Believe me, FB kinda things are the biggest distractions, because somewhere, they deeply mark some things on your unconscious mind.
You start doing things what you have seen. Originality is lost, moreover thought process is hampered.

One need to meditate to know what it means.
Just try this for one day. Give the time you spent on Facebook for meditation.
The moment you get urge to login on Facebook (it has become one like natural ;) close your eyes and sit comfortably quietly relaxing. (or give the same time to reading a book, listening to your favorite musician.)
The experience will reveal that, you start thinking more about yourself and your life rather than poking into others.

Newes these are just thoughts could vary from person to person. But I am a stubborn entity and I have habit to hold my point.
So take the test and find your own  answer honestly. (It means you have to agree with me ;)

Contemplating a grain of SAND - Aravind Eye Hospital

I hate writing about life and all that *%#$#%^#...everyone know that.  But this is my place and I have right to download all that gets on my mind. may be it's all not crap and some learning..but not all kind of learning is meaningful. Something I was forced to learn and something I wanted to learn..and something that just happened to me that taught me something I never expected. It was the speech by company vp (J D India operations) which is etching my head left and right. That guy did not speak much...he said few things and then played a video. ~~~The aftereffect was so strong that he said only one line that the session is closed, and I couldn't even raise my hands to clap for his presentation. We all were left in our thoughts that we couldn't believe what we just watched.
Background: As this was supposed to be the most high profile session of 3 day long new joinee orientation program, I was excited to attend this.

John Deere, A multi billion dollar US company, the VP of it's India operations was not getting time to address the new joinee's, the VP address was getting delayed so many times, so finally they clubbed 4 to 5 batches and made it happen some two weeks back. But when it happened it left all thinking deeply about few things that never bothered them.

Similar video Link:

another...

The expectations were to listen a vp, who will tell about growing business, sustaining growth, constantly improving with new innovations and bringing change to society and blah blah blah... He did it all but without saying a word about it, in his own way he won the audience and fulfilled his duty to convey his message. I don't know what's the deal, but I love few people or companies instantly, Bosch was one of them and John Deere is made from the same DNA.  Humanitarian approach while keeping business goals in sight, they taught me this.  Consumerism is at it's peak when we count ourselves as developing, and striving to become developed within. Why I need so many things when I can live with so few. I can donate money so does every
rich man, what about time? who will volunteer to work?

The 80-20 principle works everywhere, the balance of this society is also maintained by these 20% good people who don't just feed themselves but think about others as well.

The video he showed was about Aravind Eye Hospitals.
*The founder launched it after getting retired at age of 58.
*Banks denied him loans and asked him to enjoy his retirement.
*With mere 11 beds and family members working with him, he started.
*Today it is the largest and most productive eye care facility in the world. A self-sustaining system that now treats over 1.7 million patients each year, two-thirds of them, for free.

The vision of Dr V, as fondly called by all, is overwhelmingly pure, brilliant and human. got this link read on...

I wonder, moreover I don't understand , when I know what I have to do, why I waste so much time. Will I be ever going to do what I want to do, Will I follow the heart or just listen to brain all the time... will I be able to pursue the gray cells to beat in harmony with heart shaped ones. Why I'm writing all this, why why why...

This is ALL REAL !

28 Years !

I am yet to believe that I have reached to a stage where I have seen world/people/lives. (atleast upto an extent)

It still feels like I have just opened my eyes, and amused to see things happening around.

New bonds in making and older people separating. (of oldage or medical conditions)

Taking there places are the newborns.

THE Loom of Fate.

Sachin Tendulkar. TENth World Cup for TENdulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar.  Bas naam hi kafi hai.
10th  CRICKET WORLD CUP has this name carved allover on it.
100th Century will be one more reason to rejoice very soon.

A year ago, all journos were talking about Sachin's big three dues;
1> World Cup Win.
2> Triple Ton in Test Cricket.
3> 100 International Centuries.

Of all the above, The master has conquered World Cup goal and 100 centuries are just 1 away. Triple ton ..yeahhh looks bit difficult at this stage, BUT he is the Master. Unstoppable, no age barrier, unfatigued.
If he can smash 200 runs in half day, he can go beyond 400 runs anytime in Test Cricket.
Such is the belief. SACH is the Man. Sach is Life.
The Most Wonderful Cricketing Moment, I have ever watched. Apart from game, WORLD ...take a look, Sachin (A Hindu) is on Yusuf's (A Muslim) shoulders, and Harbhajan (A Sikh) is screaming, he cried after the win. Hindu, Muslim Sikh Isai Hum sab hai bhai bhai. Such is the Nation, Sach is Life.!

With friends at Puna flat, Enjoying the glorious moments.

ciao.

Kaise kahe alwida ..mehram.

This is a testimony... To the time recently passed.

Sometime in October 2010,  I was talking to my mom over phone...after discussing many other things the topic come about my nature to spend money unwisely. It's true I understand but I cant help it. So to divert the topic about savings and IT tax etc etc..I told my mom that I am gonna change the city and I'm planning to relocate to Pune. Mom was very happy to listen that.  But then it came to me like an obligation to fulfill what I've said. Never to go back on the words.
I started looking at the job mails carefully. Got an opportunity to come to "John Deere" for interview. Reecha ..was her name.. I always remember the first contact wherever I have worked so far. When I got first job in Pune it was Rucha. mere coincidence but I like that.:) Came to "Deere", the interview was bit strange first HR then Technical. Nevertheless I was prepared for anything. The ambiance inside was nice ..comparable o Bosch. I felt like this is the place to be in. Somehow things fall in place and I got the opportunity to work with them. I remenber; after the Tech interview finished,on the way back, I was walking down the road in magarpatta city, I called  Bals and told him that it's done. Soon I am gonaa come to Pune. Little did i know at that point of time that it's going to test my patience for two more weeks.

im feeling very sleepy now..I will write later...gn,
ciao.

The Match that was Nuts...

Now Time: 11:47 PM
Prediction was about Sachin hitting a century before match between Indian & England began at around 2:30 PM....
It was a hairsplitting, nailbitting, nerve wrecking TIE.
